tranny fluid

how many quarts of tranny fluid go in the 7mge tranny. i am replacing mine and idk how many quarts to put in it, thanks

Do you have a Owners Manual? It says their. I dont have one on me right now

dry fill is 7.6qt and it says drain and refill is up to 1.7qt


that sounds weird to me for some reason.......oh well toyota manual says it!

is that for auto only?? sounds like a small amount of fluid you know.. must be auto.

yeah thats what it says for auto which is why it doesnt sound right to me.

fill it up until it says normal on the dipstick dont overfill it though or you will be replacing some seals :x

yea I agree with tlo86, just fill to you hit the normal mark. hell maybe that is the required amount tho.. just a little funny since my auto accord takes more than that whenever I change it.
