Alarm goes off i get out bed and get dressed. I run to my car start so i'm not late to work. I let it come to temp sort of and take off. As i roll to stop i see a sliver trailblazer sittin there at the light. It said SS on the side but i thought it was just a body kit. I give him a little rev..rev...guy looks at me funny. I laugh thinkin supra vs suv no problem...right?:icon_bigg Well i get a good launch for a n/a and i'm pullin and pullin. Then, after i put 2 lenghts on him i hear "VVVVRRRRROOOOOOOMMMMM" and he blows my doors off.:nono: I felt so stupid.:nono: I ask where did ya get that? He said, "dealership" Wait until i go turbo:evil2:
I congradulated him on the win by givin the thumbs up and drivin to work. Sad huh? I had some fun.

Don't feel bad my dads old blazer which I drove a lot, it was a 96 with a 4.6 v6 vortek engine and he had done headers back exhaust and a K&N for better economy, it was pretty quick, had fun in it till I got my supra. We actually beat a stock 97 z28 by 1 car and a few ricer boys civics and eclipses. ot bad ofr an NA though, turbo woulda smoked him though, trailblazers and cherokees pull that shit on me some, but I just spool off and have a great day

I thought I warned you guys... I have a SS trailblazer, Ls2 400hp. 14.0 at 100mph. NA's should even try, bpu turbos will have trouble...

Don't feel too bad, I meet people like you every day in my SS, I smoked an integra gsr the other day while I was on the phone with Duane and had the AC blastin. I watched him in my mirror looking at his gauges like WTF?!?

I feel more like a f'in retard after i read about your ss nate.:3d_frown: That was a while ago i think....I never would of thought that suv was just playin with me and then got on it and wasted me. Its all right, i'm a chevy guy anyway.:naughty: Thinkin about fixin and sellin the supras to get another camaro. My last one got totalled before i got to drive it.(dad test driving) Spend 3 grand on the supra what do ya get somethin like 13.6 in the quarter?:icon_conf i dont much. Camaro=about 13.3, but w/o bhg worries, and no turbo. :biglaugh: I'm not gonna race the n/a anymore do to loss by "suv"

Yea, dude if your NA and wanna go to turbo, just do a 1JZ swap since your starting from scratch, going NA-T is a pain, and buying a 7MGTE only to rebuild most of it is kinda a pain too.

yea the ss trailblazers are pretty gnarly,i worked at a chevy dealership.we took one out and smashed in it for a bit.

The new Trailblazer SS are sweet! Kwnate I am jealous of your garage. Your n/a wouldve gotten beat by a standard trailblazer. :cry: Sad isnt it. Cars are just getting faster and faster. Minivans will be catching you soon.

And sorry your 96 blazer did not beat any lt1 equipped camaro, unless he was running on 6 cylinders. I still dont think youd have a chance then.

Well nick I guess you'd know since you were there and all, as sucky as the auto z28s are I really wasn't suprised, its all about gearing and power transfer effectivley, I'm not gonna argue it with ya, I know what happened and theres no way to prove or disprove it so shazam.

oh and LT1 is a POS LS1 is a good engine but the LT1 is just junk.

Just read this and laughed my ass off. Without knowing you would assume someone modded a stock Trailblazer by sticking 20"'s on it and sticking an SS sticker on the side wouldn't you. But nope, they are just rare - about as rare as MKIV supra - 10,000 made I believe.

So I guess I am the second supra / "TBSS" owner of the bunch! Mine is black AWD Kwnate. Checkout trailblazerss.com sometime if you haven't already. You and I will have to start a new club.
