Tracking someone through their ip address

Im having a problem with someone not paying money thats owed to me and i need to find out if they have moved to "duck" me. I think the guy has changed user names and now i need to find a way to find him. Also, he has shut his phone coverage off too. Im to the point of its time to get my money one way................or another. It should be known the real reason im still on Sm is so i can collect from a user on here. When i get my money i will disappear finally:biglaugh: as i dont own a mk3 anymore. Sooooooooo is there a way to backtrack the ip to get a address?

i mean its a last option thing. He only owes 500 bux so its not worth small claims.....its been 9 months to the day now. I've been talking to his dad and making good friends with him to aid in getting money. Im not gonna do anything against the law so no beat down threats or nothing.......unless.......

If you have the IP it may be possible. Here is the thing. lets say his connection is hi-speed CABLE or DSL. This means that his IP most likely will be the same for a month or more. I have seen some people have their IP not change for almost a year. If you have the IP and you know a date that you believe he had that ip. then the ISP that gave him the IP will know who was assigned to that IP .

Now the hard part. ISP's are not going to want to give you that type of information. The police could get it for you. but you need a name to tell the police. If you know the IP you believe belongs to him PM me and we can talk more.
