My buddies and I own a budget '88 MK3 track car. The car is used only for endurance races (6-8 hours) on a flat 2.15 mile course with 13 turns. When we bought the car it had stock springs but upgraded shocks. The handling really left something to be desired. We were able to find a set of Apexi lowering springs and poly bushings that will be installed shortly. Hoping to improve turn in! After the install what should we try to align it to? I have been told the following but wanted advice from folks here:
-2.25 camber in rear
-1.75 camber in front
1/8" toe out in front
1/8" toe in in rear
Caster + 7 degrees.
And this isn't a NASCAR team, its a bunch of buddies having fun on a budget so please don't tell us to do coilovers, huge brakes, LS motor, etc. Thanks!
