TPS sensor Quick Question.

I just have a quick question im going to go pick up a new TPS sensor from autozone or checkers.

But auto zone says that there are different TPS sensors for every year/model of the supra is this true?

Checker told me they have one sensor from 87-92 only difference is N/A to Turbo

My cra is a Grey Plug 89. Just need to figure out what sensor i need.

Pull the TPS off and check it. Some have the tabs horizontal to the engine and some have them vertical. Cant say I know which ones had which sensor, but if your throttle body is not original all bets are off anyways.

Ok I will check as soon as it stops raining I went ahead and bought the sensor from checkers anyhow on the outside it looks exactly the same. But as far as the tabs ill have to wait.

As far as my throttle body being original its definitely a stock tb have no idea if its been changed from car to car tho.

Thanks Nick but I'm unsure what all the twt/twc stuff means I know my car is a grey plug 89 so I assume that it falls into the 08/89 - 08/90.

So i assume this is the part number of what i need 89452-14050.

What checker gave me is part # 89452-20050

Also on the list you posted as a replacement part? So my question is simple will it work?
