tps questions

just got an 87... told it has a 1j turbo......know it has a bad tps.... is there a way to reset the tps or do i need a new one? does the tps from the 7m work on the 1j?any help is greatly appreciated

I don't think the 7m tps will work for the 1jz.
If you need a new TPS for the 1j however, call up Champion Toyota and give them this # 89452-22080. I got a new one just last week, its about $64 dollars. One from a '96 4runner (4cyl) will work also.
