Now I was pretty sure I set my tps correctly. I set it on the throttle body and touched the ohmmeter to the bottom two tabs and waited for the needle to jump and set it at that point. Now my car idles too low and dies sometimes and backfires every once in a while probaly once or twice every half hour.
I will recheck my timing but I set that the other day, yes it is on the right compression stroke. I reset the cps and it seems to sit almost all the way to one side but it's at 10 btdc in dignostic mode, curious cuz it never seemed to sit that far before. Now I checked the codes and I get a tps code would that cause (code 41)
all those effects? I just bought a replacement so I hope it's not out already
it's an 87 turbo with a ddp, hks bov and k&n fipk. I don't believe it's a vacuum leak but I don't think that's the problem and when it dies the idle will drop to about 500 then sometimes lower then pop back up or die.
Thanks for any help
