I preach this often for a reason. They are the nicest diagrams I know of. They are accurate, detailed and very specific. And the book also gives TCCS control functions, as the wiring connects the ECU to every thing in the car.

Buy one on Ebay. Buy one at the dealer. Buy it for your exact year, even though they are mostly the same.

Here is the link to the 90. Look through it so you can see all the info it has. It is better than the repair manual.

Link is to 89.

Either way, he is only preaching the truth. I've had to use it many times, and it was very helpful. One example of when I used it was to find out the best way to wire up my reverse lights to a switch. It has the diagrams for the plug shapes and everything too.
It beats the shit outta the diagrams in the TSRM imho. lol

Yup, I've got EWD books for all of my Toyotas, they are great. Just thought I'd mention it though because some stuff did change throughout the years and while the TSRM on his site is for 1990, the EWD is for 89.

ive worked with toyota ,gm, ford and land rover ewd's
and by far toyota's are the best ive ever came across. color coded to the dot, bolt writing, they give you individuel diagrams for each system , along with entire system layout, and ground & power sources.. even some trouble charts.

it is a shame some people dont take advantage of them..
