What is the US version? or is there one? I can't seem to find the likes toyota or Lexus... anyone know? We are family car shopping...no reason to not get a yota!

Nah, the supra is rockin the Volks. The new one's that I bought just for the Lexus are 18x7 all around with 225/40 tires.

But, the older GS's are pretty sweet. I'd love to get the 1st gen lexus and put the 2jzgte in that bad boy. I still might one day when I start a family.

Yeah. The earlier JZX81s and JZX90s(I think) came with the 1JZ TT engine. The later JZX models, JZX100s and JZX110s, came with the newer VVTi 1Js. I might have the models wrong but I know early ones had the TT 1J and newer ones had VVTi 1Js. Those VVTi 1J is either only recently discontinued or still in production in JZX cars. When I blew up my 1st 1J, I replaced it with a JZX81 engine. Had to swap oil pans and engine mount brackets and a few other things but it's basically the same engine.
The had other engine options like variations(GE and FE) of some G, JZ, and I think maybe some early ones had 7Ms but I'm not sure about that. Manual options were available too(R154).
I don't think any of the JZX models came with 2JZ-GTEs. GEs I believe but not GTEs like the Aristo had.
Don't quote me on all of that though. Just speaking off memory. You get the idea though.
Our US Cressida is pretty close to the early JZX models. 81s and 90s.
If you watch some JDM car videos, JZX cars are pretty popular.
