i believe my probe pistons came with total seal rings, because i know they werent NDC. and i just used a piston ring filer... wasnt that hard once you got the nack.

I heard a lot of neg back in the day with total seals not seating. :(

I tried them years ago in a Chrysler build I did and could never get them to seat properly. Ended up using Perfect Circle on that build.

This is one of the few times I'll pass on hearsay info but I believe the issue with Total Seal rings and the 7M is they're too hard for our Block material.

Never used em but had spoken with the guys at my Machine shop about them and I know for a fact hard rings don't work that well.

i guess its going to be hit or miss with my rings sealing them... i made sure i told them to use the finer finshing stone on the block because in the FAQ about probe stuff (adjust made it?) he said that the top ring is chrome plated or something to that effect...

i just hope my rings seal...

^Doward did.

That Assumption was made on NPR rings.

Then NPR supplies went dry and Aaron went with Total Seals.

Sorry to Rain on your Build, Rennat. :(
