hey guys can you use your torque wrench to break the head bolts loose or is it only supposed to be used to tighten?

You can, but i would never trust it again. so the answer is no,,

you can, but i wouldnt. Thats what the big breaker-bars are for

only if its a beam style torque wrench, then you can measure breakaway tq. Good technique if you think the warped the head as the breakaway tq. values will be diff. But dont use a clicker style

LOL guys. I used a standard craftsman 3/8" drive ratchet to take my head bolts off. Comon, put some muscle into it.
