I've got the good ol' cam knock goin on.
Will try to plastigage and file to bring clearances back to somewhere near right.
My question is:
Has anyone out there plumbed in a line right to the back caps?
This seems like the permanent fix, I just dont know where to grab the oil from (or how much oil I wanna pull off the bottom).
Im not real familiar with the oil system on this yet, the reading I've been doing on the oil cooler, and shimming stuff, remote filters, etc has my head spinning.
I've got an ancient V65 honda that's got a oil mod on the cams, and that fixed the "soft cam" issue on the bike. There are convenient oil galleys on that motor though, not sure about the 7M.
