Ok guys, looking to purchase a pipe bender!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-T...tegoryZ63702QQihZ012QQitemZ220013007120QQrdZ1

Is this junk, or is it alright? Im jsut looking for a basic setup to maybe make some NA intake pipes, and intercooler setups.

I jsut ned something basic and cant see spending 2500 on a REAL one yet.

Woudl this pipe bender work? Or is this complete Junk and am i wasting your time?

Thanks,

William

Yep, crush bent.

Money would be better spent in a small MIG welder, learn to weld, and a cutoff saw, imho.

Then you can buy mandrel U bends and build mandrel bent items to your heart's desire, plus gain an invaluable skill!

crush bends FTL. think of it this way, will. do you want a crush bent exhaust? no? thought not. you I/C pipes are just as important to have restriction free as your exhaust is.

I you wanna spend some money on a good tube bender, check out jd squared. You can pick up thier introductory bender without a stand or dies for $300. You can get up to 2.5" dies with the small bender, or up to 3" with thier heavy duty bender.

ya we have one of those.. pretty much useless for automotive stuff.
:werd:

I got one to bend roll cage tubing, totally useless...................it will kink tubing into angles, and you can gusset them, but no smooth bends
