Wow, I can't believe the car sat for about 6 weeks without moving. I had rewaxed it a couple weeks ago, but didn't take her outta the garage. I've just been so busy with work and being outta town every weekend for a college football game that I just haven't had the time.

But yesterday I came home early from work and took her out. MAN, I had forgot how fast and how much fun this car is to drive!:aigo: Driving around my Tahoe all the time just doesn't quite create the same feeling...

So what's the longest you've let your baby sit without turning the wheels?

Not that long! I've got to at least sit in mine and pretend I'm driving it ONCE a week ;).

My cousin though.... His has been sitting for months, probably around 6 or so...

5 yrs.... i was in college and the tranny gave out (auto) rather then rebuild it again and keep having issues with the car, i parked it in an underground parking garage and it grew a thick layer of dust.

now that i finished school etc and can afford to fix it up, last yr i pulled it out and have been restoring it ever since.

am... whole winter, only letting her idle on every 2nd weekend for like 10-15min's ;)
don't let the car idle! thats the worst thing you can do as condensation builds up in your engine ! Just let it sit and forgetit. keep a full tank in her and i guess thats it. THis year my supras lucky. It get a home at room temperature hehe.

As of november 1st my car has been stored.

So its not good to warm up the car durring the winter? To let the fluids circulate?

hmz, thats a bit complicated for me, couse my supra doesnt fit in my garage (she's to low) and i cant change oil before starting her... But isnt it worse to let her sit compleatly untouched? I mean all seals and piston rings can get stuck, or am i thinking wrong?
