What torque did you go to, I have 3000 miles on my MHG with ARP studs. I haven't re-torqued them and dont plan on it, and thats running with 17psi. With studs I dont see the need. There are about 7 7Ms running in the area with arp studs that havent been retorqued, most with over 10,000 miles on them. But if you want too, I woul go a bit longer.

90 ft/lbs, I torque the sequence @ 60 ft/lbs, then thru the sequence again at 90, loosen till they spin freely, then run them back to 90.

The ARP spec for studs is 81 ft/lbs using moly for lube...105 ft/lbs using motor oil. You DO NOT want to over torque.

on new hardware, it is necessary to re-torque because even ARP studs will stretch to a point. after they've been heat cycled and re-torqued, they're not supposed to have to be re-torqued ever again, but why chance it?

it took me a beer and an hour and a half to re-torque... (while carrying out a full conversation with my friend, who happened to stop by)
