So in February of 2009 I bought my first car which just happened to be an 88 N/A 5 speed. I was 17 at the time, and since then besides for basic maintenance and a redone interior I did myself the car is still basically stock. However very recently I found an 87 turbo 5 speed parts car on craigslist for a very reasonable price so I decided to jump at the opportunity to get it. Ever since I have gotten my first car I have been visiting supramania and gaining knowledge and getting ideas by looking at others rides. So hopefully sometime in the future I'll be able to show off a nice 7m-gte but these pictures will have to satisfy for now :icon_bigg :
The stock interior being the ugly burgundy color I decided that needed to go and be replaced with a flat black semi gloss kyrlon plastic paint with dark grey carpeting to go along with it.
First things first, removal of the front seats:
Next was the back seats:
After wards the back vinyl side paneling along with the plastic coverings along the trunk:
Yay for paint fumes!
Insertion of the plastic trunk paneling:
Walmart automobile carpeting:
Reupholstered back vinyl inserts:

Parts!:
Although the carpet is now back to the original red, i have the grey under which makes it a lot less noisy and acts as extra insulation.
Shitty camera makes it look bad but dash was replaced with all red LEDs. Although you can't tell these baby's GLOW.

my two babies meeting for the first time:
the radiator and intercooler were damaged from the previous owner who was in a wreck but other than that and the nose clip the car is in good shape.
X2 He gave me two of them for some reason with the car, can't complain though.
stock and short shifter, plus the ct26.
bucket of cam sensor parts, this is gonna be a PITA putting back together.
past its prime exhaust manifold
