So in February of 2009 I bought my first car which just happened to be an 88 N/A 5 speed. I was 17 at the time, and since then besides for basic maintenance and a redone interior I did myself the car is still basically stock. However very recently I found an 87 turbo 5 speed parts car on craigslist for a very reasonable price so I decided to jump at the opportunity to get it. Ever since I have gotten my first car I have been visiting supramania and gaining knowledge and getting ideas by looking at others rides. So hopefully sometime in the future I'll be able to show off a nice 7m-gte but these pictures will have to satisfy for now :icon_bigg :

The stock interior being the ugly burgundy color I decided that needed to go and be replaced with a flat black semi gloss kyrlon plastic paint with dark grey carpeting to go along with it.

First things first, removal of the front seats:

Next was the back seats:

After wards the back vinyl side paneling along with the plastic coverings along the trunk:

Although the carpet is now back to the original red, i have the grey under which makes it a lot less noisy and acts as extra insulation.

Dynamatted the back of the supra last week, covered a lot of the empty space above the tire wells which helps a lot.

Bought new tires on Thursday, I'd really like to put some rims on it soon and for some reason I'm really leaning towards the Mustang Saleen Replicas (yea i know it must be a sin for some).

Nice car, im in the process of doing my 89 supra as well. Good luck and keep up with the hard work. And are you selling that blue dash by any chance in the white supra?

Was looking around on Craigslist a week back to see what kind of supra parts were floating around the local area and found these:
brand new Tein Monoflex coilovers with EDFC kit

Previous owner never installed them on his mk3 and ended up selling his supra, so they have been sitting for 2 years but all in the original packaging. Got them for a few hundred less as well so had to jump on that deal. Only bad part is they never came with the pillowball mounts so I'll probably have to order a set.

Anybody ever run these without the pillowballs? If so opinions?

I have no idea about the mounts, but congrats on your first car, and first supra =] Keep us updated on the build, hopefully it doesn't become an eyesore sitting in your driveway and you continue with it.
