how do ya think it'll go ;)

i've decided to let my mum keep my 46 trim and i'm going to4r :D

i don't wanna run tons and tons of boost.... probly first off while i get all the fuel necessities i'm only running 6psi as i will only have the walbro + fpr + stock injectors
how much boost could i run on the to4r safely do ya think? i'll be getting it dyno'd + the wideband is already installed

plans to run bigger boost = 1/2 gallon surge tank, intank walbro (already got) external walbro for surge tank, twin fed stock rail, 550cc injectors, safc

anything i've forgotten?

any other 7m's out there with the to4r?

Thanks :D

wow suze sounds like you mean business :)

i know trey did mid 400rw and low 12's on moderate boost levels on the gte motor. id imagine your ge motor would be crazy with that turbo! altho even still 6psi its gonna be a slouch and probably feel worse than your 46trim you had. hurry up and get your fuel bits on there so you can turn it up! :)
other than what you have mentioned id like to have an afpr and/or afc to do some tuning with.

edit: i see in your sig you are now going back to a lower compression. it will still be a good feeling turbo but i would wait to turn up the boost after fuel upgrades just to be safe. btw- whats a surge tank?

Treys turbo isn't a true to4r, it was an upgraded ts04 or t04s (whatever it was), in which he "named" it a custom built to4r.

I take it that this is going to be a .70 comp .96 exh a/r. true to4r? In that case, they're good for 650rwhp, and spool at 4000rpms, I believe. I used to have one, but sold it to streetknight. I also wouldn't run as low as 6psi on it - it might surge? At least run it up to fuel cut, then back the boost off a little.

Actually, have you seen the hks to4x? It's the dbb version of the to4r. You'll get quicker spool, if that's what you want.

edit; dbsupra: surge-tank= fuel-cell.

edit2: i think you should be ok with what you have listed for fuel stuff. But, don't forget the race gas!

not to be a sheep but i'd forget about the old T04 series and take a look at the IJ's path to power.. the GT series is VERY nice!!! and considering you want something for the 1/4 and street a nice internaly gated GT35/40 is nice and compact and probably lighter then going externaly gated T04

this one "was" a to4r but the rear housing was made slightly smaller for spool and originally the wheel was made smaller but has now been upgraded, so has the compressor wheel.... she's quite a hybrid now... but spools at 2500rpm :D

reason i'm going for the to4r... it's gonna cost me $400nzd for it ;) so like $300 or $280usd hehe... it's good bein a girl :p

oh and my engine is a gte ;)
hehe.. i was about to write.. didn't you read my first post.. i'm already getting an afc & fpr... thought i'd check back and oh look... i forgot to write it LOL

above i meant walbro + fpr (aftermarket) + stock injectors

and when i get the fuel goodies i'm getting the safc probly for a price of... $50 or a kiss or something LOL

as long as you've got the wideband hooked up you should be able to tell us, gonna be a lot higher than 6psi tho. I'm guessing 12 or so extreemly safe until you replace the pump and get the regulator on there

i guess i'll find out LOL

what size wastegate should i get?
i'm planning on running bout 15psi eventually... wanting 400rwhp and doing 12's on the 1/4
whats a recommended wastegate?
