*sorry if in wrong section, its a GE engine with GTE electronics I want so I dont know which section to put it in lol*

So basically I have a 1987 76k original Mileage NA 5 speed supra, I was planning on selling it for a 05 STI but lately I have been going back to the car lol but anyways. I don't want to do a swap because it would feel like a waste of a low mileage engine to put in a probably rebuilt GTE engine. So I want to do a GE-T with GTE electronics so I have a couple questions:
1. To those who did the change, was it worth it power wise? is it possible to run low 13's on a GE-T?What about reliability?
2. I plan on just buying another Supra Turbo and just using that as the parts car instead of having to source everything, does it matter if it has a BHG? there are alot of cheap Turbos in the area with like 130k miles and BHG's so they only cost around 1500 lol.
3. If I keep the W58 transmission will I get problems? I don't aim to go above 350HP, and also will it be alright to get a aluminum driveshaft if I keep the W58?
4. When I buy the "parts" Supra what is a good idea to look out for electronic wise?
5. Will a 7mget with full exhaust system, downpipe, ct26 with 57 trim, MHG, Intake, Lexus AFM, 550C injectors and raised boost and a tune be able to take out a stage 2 STI lol

I would buy another Supra Turbo but honestly, I like mine lol

I did the GE with GTE electronics. I bought a turbo parts car for 600 bucks from a member and the car ran. If you can locate one at Pull-A-Part then just basiclly strip the block down to just a long block. Take the ECU and harness and start piecing together from there. As stated in the write up on here, have about 2 grand aside for all the nit pick stuff you will come across in the build. Change the head gasket and use APR bolts if you don't already have them. I run mine all stock with boost at 10lbs and it's a night and day difference. Well worth the time and money.

i know the GTE head fits on the ge block (cause the GE block is practically the same aside from a few things) so if you wanna make more than 300 range whp you can swap the head out for the GTE one.

yeah i read the write up but nothing better then hearing alot of peoples personal experiences lol, so basically i can just leave the ge block and make the rest gte? Also if i do that does bhg on my parts motor count? What if i dont use the head? To the person who did the get, horse power numbers? Reliability?

It doesn't matter on the parts engine. I would change it on the engine you are converting and use ARP hardware on the head. I used ARP head bolts instead of the studs. I never dynoed my car it's all stock I just turned the boost up to 10-12 lbs. Again, I did this to MY car. I have been driving it back and fourth to work for the past month or so with no problems. I did have some problems with it at first because I didn't follow the write up for the 89 year model. I used parts form a 88,89,90 and 91 and had some issues. Got it all cleared up now but not with out asking lots of questions and pissing a few people off. My advise is get ALL electronics ECU and harness for your year model and if you can production month.

Also, as for reliability, it's only as reliable as the work you do and the parts you use. Generally it can be reliable if you don't push it too hard. There have been a few people who have done this, and actually, in the sticky, I think I have some vague references to people who speak about their setups. My brother has personally done this route (and he was one of the earlier adopters of it) and he had his setup last for a long time (2-4 years, I don't remember exactly) and he even ran it on an upgraded turbo (Master Power T61). It hasn't blown, but the engine is not being used anymore ever since he swapped the engine out (because he wanted to, not because he was forced to).
