Ok as some may remember i had to trade my Supra off last Jan as i had hit a moose doing 60 with my expedition and needed another 4x4 to get to work in the winter. The fellow i traded with used the car a little and thinks he blew the HG, according to him there was a loss of oil pressure and had a little white smoke off the engine, So my dilemma is should i buy it back he sent a text yesterday asking if i want it back at a much reduced price, So now i have to think do i really want it back not knowing how badly he abused it. I have enjoyed the wifes supra some this summer but NA auto just not the same, Also IF i do get it anyone know going price for a imported 7M-GTE

Just have a machine shop rebuild it. That's what I'm going threw right now. It's costing me about 1400 for them to do it. That with machine work, parts, and labor.

Think i will go see it tonight if he is home to see if he abused it any other ways. Might be good time to consider a JZ swap.

If you can get a clean shell and interior for a decent price (no more than $2000 for a damn near immaculate shell), put some money into a mini-restoration and love it. For $10k (if you know what you want, make a plan, and stick to it), you can have a pretty sweet car in a couple years. :)
