I got my wheels balanced on my Poopra the other day and ever since, I've had this weird rubbing type of noise from the front passy side of the car.
It is constant with wheel rotation but tends to go away after you do some driving. What do you think it could be? I'm going to check the tire for anything stuck in it because when I took the tires off for balancing I found a screw & a nail in one of my tires (lots of construction in my area at the moment)
But other than that I can't think of what it could be. I'm going to also check to see if the shield behind is coming into contact with the rotor. You hear it inside the car and not as much outside, and it also doesn't get worse with turning, so I'm going to rule out wheel bearing.
The only other thing I can think of is that they were improperly balanced / a weight fell off. I have the old Advan SA3R's and didn't want to ruin the nice red lip with weights so the wheels were static balanced as opposed to dynamic.
Any suggestions would be cool, I'm going to check out the things I mentioned earlier when I get off work tonight.
