I'm purchaseing a w58 from a member and we this is only the 3rd trans ive ever removed and only the second rwd....ive searched and found some good advice but was wondering anybody could add some things? I'm not putting a new clutch in cause mine feels fine and doesn't slip at all.. I'm just looking for as much info as possible so I don't get any suprised cause the last time I removed a trans from a toyota the plate and springs on the shift stick just fell appart from rust and ended up costing me $200 for a new stick assem from toyota...

So again anybody who has some w58 stories to tell please share your experience.

Thanks

If you have a hard time putting the tranny back on slightly jack up the front of the engine so it is easier to slide the tranny in.
