Timing Setups with stock cams and pump gas

So i just put on my Titan Adjustable Cam gears and before i start messing with the timing i just wanted to see other people's success/horror stories

what would you recommend trying for my setup?

Titan Cam Gears
Stock Cams
Stock Head rebuilt
walbro 255
560cc injectors
apexi power intake
2.5inch intercooler piping (hks ssqv3) Driftmotion Front mount KIT
Lexus AFM
BK7RE's gapped to .28
full 3inch turbo back
CT26 60-1 with Exhaust clipping @ 13-14psi
AEM uego
Turbo Smart Boost Gauge
MBC

Using 91 Octane Pump gas

I recommend you start at zero, or "straight up". Regardless of car. I have seen adjustable cam gears installed on many cars. And find your own sweet spot.

right now they are untouched just took off the stock ones and threw these on.

i know i should only adjust about 2 degrees at a time. But what are some things to look for and watch out for while doing this to know you are improving i'm all about safe power before raw power

Do you know the general rule of thumb? Advancing the intake to open sooner or retarding the exhaust to open later both increases overlap, and shifts the torque peak higher in the rpm range. There is probably a sticky somewhere (google) that says 5 degrees on 7MGTE stock did, whatever it did.
