is there a difference in timing belts, I just went to advance auto and got the only one they had in stock for like 19.99 is there a better option for this or does it even matter?

a timing belt is pretty much a timing belt... so no, there's really no difference unless you want a pretty color or something... :)

Quality....I'd say the $20 belt is gonna be less quality than a name brand belt, like Gates.
But wait...I just did a google, and it seems that most, if not all, are coming from China now. They all claim to be made of the 'best' material in the universe, and will last longer than the "Star Trek" tv show ran (re-runs are still shown in 3rd world countries).

I hear OEM is not quite the same as what was factory installed.
But for a timing belt, I'd stick with OEM or a good aftermarket one. I would hate for the thing to fail on the road.
