Tide Trifecta

What on earth could be better for a Tide fan than what has transpired today in college football.

First, the Tide pitches their first shutout since 2005.

Second, Auburn gets beat, while the Vols go down again Always a pleasure.

Third, Texas goes down to Texas Tech, taking the lone team from the poll ahead of the Tide.

Not hatin! I actually give them 10X the respect this year versus any previous year. They are a legitimately great team, and so is Tech. That was a hell of a game. I can't even say 100% that the Tide will be the #1 team this week. But, Saban as #1 going into the Bayou at night would be a hell of a story, and guess where Game Day will be!

It was definitely a crazy day...we were listening to the games at work and everyone was insane haha.

I don't know for sure if they will be #1 or not. I honestly would rather not. All they have to do is win all of their games, and they will end up national champions no matter what the polls say before that. #1 now just puts extra pressure on them, and a bigger target on their chest.

I don't feel it either, but I don't see anyone but Florida stopping them.

BTW........The Tide pulled another trifecta today. #1 in the AP, USA Today, and BCS. They also pulled into #1 in the Yahoo user rankings, who had them #6 last week.

This is the first time since 1980 that they have been #1 during the season. They were national Champion in 92, but got there by virtue of that classic whooping of Miami in the Orange bowl.Nobody saw them doing that either.........Nobody!
