Throw out bearing Help

changing the clutch right now, now on the throw out bearing theres like adapter on the it how do i get that off, or do i even need to take it of to change the throw out bearing. the adapter seems like i have to twist it off but it doesnt. i looked at the tsrm and just says to to just twist of but it doesnt

word of advice never buy a clutch kit from auto zone because they give you the wrong throw out bearing which is what happend to me. i had to go to advanced auto to buy the clutch kit to get the right bearing also their clutch kits are brand new unlike auto zone reman stuff. sssoo pissed that this happend other wise my car would of been done last night instead of driving around trying to find out WHY the throw out bearings are different.
