does any one know if a Q45 throttle body will work on a mkiii?

It will, but it's by no means a direct replacement. Usually the use for a Q45 is when someone switches to a front facing intake manifold and they wish to increase the pipe size for the intercooler pipes so they get a bigger tb to let more air in faster. I'll be getting one that's for sure.

most people mount q45s on their Ron R. ffims. ive heard nothing but great things about those, what with quality and fitment being superb. he'll weld a custom flange for you to mount any tb you want, i believe.
