I got tired of that stupid throttle linkage stuff on top of the motor. I was in Auto Zone, in their "fast and furious" section (where I usually laugh at the simulated hood pins and stuff) and this braided cale caught my eye. It's $25 and can be easily adapted to a stock throttle body and gas pedal. I had an older throttle body laying around that had a very simple linkage, that is the one you want to use. I made a temporary setup to test it and it works awesome, the pedal feel is just like a 1j now. I am going to make a bracket to attach to my 3000 pipe but it works well enough to leave it like it is.

You can use the parts in the kit for this install, you do not need anything else but a bracket or hose clamp. You have to have a 3/4" or 1" unibit to open up the hole in the firewall for the throttle cable to fit. The fitting on the end of the cable at the pedal is the one with a set screw, and it is even tapered just like the stock cable.

I had not seen that before, but it's basically the same thing, The stock cable is a little too short, isn't it?

the stock one on a turbo car is too short. my car is a turbo swapped 86.5, so i had the N/A throttle cable already. it fits *perfectly*.

edit: by the way, your setup looks nice, very clean.
