Throttle Cable

Yeah I am currently putting a 7mge (engine isnt installed yet) into a 87 Turbo shell and was wondering if the throttle cable will work from a turbo car (appears to be 18 inches or so) and mate up to the throttle linkage on the 7mge or if it will be too short?

Anybody know? If it is too short is there a way to extend it or just have to find an N/A throttle cable?

The Turbo throttle cables are much shorter than the N/A's cable. Best bet would be to source an N/a Cable, or do a bit of custom tweaking.

Ok, thats what I thought! Thanks a lot Shaeff. Maybe I will just try extending the cable????
