I don't know if this should go here or in genral dis. so mods feel free to move it. The throttle cables on my car are fairly loose, how do I tighten them up? I have looked through my TSRM and can't find anything. Can any one explain how to do it? Or tell me what page it is on in the TSRM if its in there, I am having no luck.

even tho they might be lose, you should check and see if your getting full throtle when you push the petel to the floor.
have one person inside and push the petel to the floor, while another person turns the throtle at the body after the petel is pushed, if you can still turn the throtle at the throtle body, then thats bad, your not getting full throtle.
but if you are getting full throtle, everything might be ok,
try it, hope it helps, -Brian

I think so, when I was cleaning the butterfly valve in the throttle body about a month ago every thing seemed ok. Then I felt somethig slip and I think it was one of the cables. I haven't noticed anything bad after that so I think I am ok. I am still going to try out your suggestion after I find someone who will help me.
