Thoughs on N/A blocks

Well, I'm going to be building another engine. I can get an N/A shortblock with no rodknock very cheap.

I'm looking for 500-600 hp in the future, but maybe not right at first. I plan on forged pistons and some aftermarket rods.

I know I will need to use a turbo oil pump. I don't know what to do about the squirters. Are they really important or not so much?

I changed to a GTE block this time as the Pauter rods don't have bore squirters.

so IJ, would an na block be good for a high hp buildup as long as the rods I plan on using have bore squirters?

Gixx: If you run some sort of full flow temp based oil cooler I can't see any reason why not.

The GTE Squirters will come into play for prolonged periods of high boost which really doesn't happen all that much in a road car!
