Those of you with a clear timing cover

Do you have to remove the thermostat housing to remove the lower half of the clear timing cover?

No? Not as far as I've seen. Although I don't have one, so... maybe.

I think it'll slide off with just a little room to spare... I guess I'll find out tonight and report back... I was just curious

You HAVE to take the thermo housing off.

I didn’t realise you could get clear timing covers, do you have any more info on suppliers etc.,

Yup have to take the housing off...though its not a big deal...just 2 bolts.
