what manifold do you single 1jz guys use? and where do you get them from? i'm thinking about goin single cuz i have a blown stock twin? does the 1jz have problems spooling big singles?

I run this manifold:

I also run a GT40-88 turbo. Full spool by 4k. I rev my motor to 8k. No problems at all It starts spooling almost off idle, its very responsive.

A 1JZGTE spools a turbo a few hundred RPM later then a 2JZGTE (1-300), but we have a higher redline, so it evens out.

Be a man about it, and at least get something with a 65+mm inducer

You need to contact Aaron from DriftMotion. He has these manis or can get them. He will hook you up with what you need.

the ebay ones are fine you just might have to modify a bolt hole or two and modify the WG tube

Smart ass? If your going single turbo, u should have the tools to modify a ebay manifold to fit. Like a grinder?

My ebay manifold fit fine.. The wastegate tube was too long though, so cut it off and welded a Tial 44 flange on it.. never any probs..

I had the stryder manifold..
