alrighttty, well i finally got parts to NA-T

found the guy on craigslist and picked up a pretty near complete '87 GTE with a BHG for $300.

my goal is to just get the thing running 8-10psi reliably, and slowly aim for around 400whp (that'll be awhile; it's a goal)

here's where we begin....

and what's soon to come....

my plan of attack
[[REVISED]]
-7MGE bottom end, turbo head with N/A cams (don't have any turbo ones to use, and i'd like the low-end power for drifting)
-need to get ahold of a stock IC and piping for now
-bosch 103 (have it)
-sticking with the W58
-weld my diff for events; LSD for DDing
-maybe a gasket kit
-new belts
-new oil pump

this is all just the beginning, once it's running i'll be upgrading even further toward my goal.

i know it's been eternity, but i had a little progress today. i felt the sudden urge to install my boost gauge in the dash where the cigarette lighter was. so i took a stove-heated steak knife to it and here's what i ended up with...

my sister felt compelled to pose with it, lol

at this point the car is sitting with the head off, and i'm debating or not to go through with the NA-T or to just put it back together as a non-turbo. i'll have an update as soon as i make my mind up
