1) Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 15W50
2) Factory Toyota or Autolite 3923
3) OEM Toyota 100% Concentrate (Red Coolant) with distilled water and a bottle of Redline Water Wetter.

Might wanna drain and re-fill your tranny fluid and differential while you're at it. I recommend Royal Purple Synchromesh...

just dont use the green gm coolant , just dont. ur better off w/ the red toyota.
old site had the total write up on the gm coolant and how it got gummed up in our engines. now its gone, but the lesson is still here.

just a question if i were to mix 2 quart 10w30 and 2 15w50 + 1 quart lucas approx what viscosity would i end up with?

¤Oil: Mobil 1 Synthetic 15w50 (didnt have 20w50). I live in Florida.

¤Oil Filter: K&N

¤Spark Plugs: Autolites. Didnt have NGKs, and the only ones I'd trust other than Denso would be Autolites....just DONT get champions! Tons of people have had shitty experience, including me...I didnt even have 100 miles on mine and the porcelin around the center electrode broke off blah blah.

¤Spark plug wires: NGK

¤Air filter: HKS, but NOT recommended. I'm eventually getting an A'Pexi one

Just dont use the green gm coolant

You mean orange GM coolant, the Dex-cool stuff. It should never be used on a car that didn't come from the factory with Dex-cool, nor should regular coolant be used in a car that came with Dex-cool, ever.

It gels up when mixed even in small quantities.

the orig. owner of my car used toyota red. when i pulled my motor, my dumbass got the dexcool stuff from napa. i was unaware of the ill effects of mixing this stuff.

however with a less than thorough flushing (heater core probably closed..) i havent had any problems running the dexcool from napa.

does anyone have the same experience as CK with his beemer? I have heard that synthetic can cause more rear end noise that regular fluid. I read somewhere that Reg recommend Ford fluid for the rear end as he noticed the least noise with it. What do you guys think?
