the strangest problem with my supra.....

i have an 87 supra and noticed when i gas it, it takes a second before the car actually speeds up. also when i give it about half throttle it slows down until i give it more gas or less gas.....it seems to have a dead spot on my throttle.....what the hell could cause this? btw, changed out my tps and still the same problem...

Yes, it could be your AFM...it also could be that your TPS wasn't installed/adjusted correctly. Are you sure you aren't thinking of turbo lag?

pull the efi fuse for 10 secs to reset the ecu. then check codes again.

TPS could still need adjusting. I had a slight flat spot in mine. I would cruise out of the parking lot and if I was in first gear @ 2000 rpm's and (a certain voltage on the TPS) my car felt like I slammed on brakes. Luckily for me the maft pro shows what the tps voltage is and I was able to adjust it to spec.
