A few of you may have noticed that I have made no posts, no comments, etc. for the past several months, but there is a reason(see below):eek3:

357cid sbc 11:1 flattop motor w/Willys modified 4412 carb, powerglide, ford 9inch with 6.80gears, all hand assembled by me. :naughty: I guess since I don't smoke or drink I had to have some sort of vice....
Feel free to comment, make fun, etc.

What's your top speed with 2 gears, and a 6.8 rear end? :)

I run in high gear,(full manual valve body), turn 6300-6700rpm on a 27x10-15 tire with 83-85 inch rollout. When they put radar on us on the track(3/8 mile) we usually run around 70mph on the straights.
I think last time I worked out the math 6500rpm on a 85 inch tire would be over 100mph, but since we are on dirt we never approach that due to tire spin. The 6.80's do pull off the corners well....( I worked the math again on paper instead of in my head, top speed around 76-82)

looks nice, now get back to work on the supra.
I have a motor build for the supra in mind, just happen to have some Probe pistons coming......the crazy thing is I have twice the money in my race car that I have in the supra. (crazier still is we run for 300.00 to win every week)

Parts are cheap except heads, we are limited to the old double humps, you'll pay 300-600 a pair, and then another 400-800 for head work(and still have a 40+ year old head with 40+ year old flow rate capibility)
Did I mention she only weighs 2950 with driver, before weight added to bring me to 3400lb(53.6% rear at the moment)

Why is there no supramania stickers on it?

I would have to have several to keep a good one on it every week....the sheet metal is subject to "in race modifications"
