What is it I have to do now since they will not sell one with a reseviour. I tried to take this thing apart and it'd locked up tighter than a nun's well...., Ij is always lurking my threads so you gents get the picture. It's tight, I couldn't budge it with open faceand or a socket.

I finally got the damn thing out from under the car and now I have to figure out how to crack the nut....., Or I will take it to where I ambuying the new pump and let them crack this bitch.

I tried that and then household oil not to mention the thing soaked a brand new pair of dear hide gloves with the power steering fluid that was still in it. Thanks though. Ya know it's like my wrench neds an extension but I can't apply that pressure while I hold it down as well. hmmmmmmm

u got a large set of table vises(sp?, those clamp thingies) and then try and get it off with a breaker bar.

I was thinking about bolting it down to the deck and trying that.. Today is a new day and I will have my moment of reckoning. This supra and I are about to have a come to jesus meeting!

I know this sounds backwoods, but do you have an airhammer? Put a dull chisel bit in there and get right on the side of the hex and carefully try to turn it/ break it free that way. I don't know how many impossible nuts and fittings I've gotten free that way. Good chance to ruin the pass-thru bolt though. Hmmm, try a socket and then striking it with hammer?

Put it back on the engine and then break the nut free. It's so easy that way, the engine will hold it for you. Incredible!:biglaugh:

i WAS ABLE TO GET LOSE EVERYTHING EXCEPT FOR THE PUMP. sorry bout the caps, I took it to advanced auto this morning because the replacement was 85$ and 30$ for the core. I took the entire pump up there i gave it the look over got home and my old lady went to the ball game with the copper washers, she turns around and comes home to givet them to me. WHAT A WOMAN!!! So i get into the back to get started and i remove a plastic cover that has the nutt with the two end hose connection. I'll keep you guys posted . this is pretty par for the course for me.
