"only" took three hours, by myself, the first time, not bad.

had help there, at the end, with the lift, thanks to my brother.

Project plans include new probe pistons, clevite bearings, arp rod bolts/main bolts, new oil pump, and maybe a fidanza flywheel.

already has arp head bolts and RSP 6-puck. should have an HKS mls head gasket, we'll see how it survives getting the head removed.
oh, and the ac compressor was gone when I got the car. going to pull the rest of the under-hood stuff, as part of the engine bay cleaning.

First time, 3 hours is great! You must have done some reading before getting started.

What type of intercooler do you have? That piping looks a little different in the first pic. I'd be interested in seeing more pics of that whole set up.

It's an xo2 racing IC, 24x12x3, iirc. 2.5" piping. a bit big, but it should get the job done.
I think we have better pics, somewhere, but we'll try to remember to snap more pics on re-assembly.

actually, that was me, but he was wearing a short sleeve shirt, too. dropped to a high of 35, i think, today, so yesterday was THE day to do it.

I got there just in time for him to pull the last bolt, and help hook up the engine hoist. :/
