As I was turning left today I noticed a orangish or yellow light next to the temp gauge flash on and go off when i started to go straight. It seriously looked like a bird cage but it only comes on when I turn left. what the heck is it?

I just typed this out recently in a parellel universe:

The reason you see that light on your dash is because your coolant reservoir has a sensor in it that activates the dash light when the coolant gets low.
If you fill up your reservoir, you should be fine.
Fill up your radiator if it is low also.

I think that light is supposed to represent the radiator.

Tell us how you make out--and if it fixes it for good.
Keep an eye on your coolant level and tell us if that continues to drop. If it does....well, fill it up first and see how it goes.

Everyone is wrong, it is a picture of a big bank, and signals to you that you are going to need to visit one soon to pay for repairs..... :biglaugh:

Speaking of this light, When the overfill constantly drains, does it always mean BHG or can a faulty radiator cap do this too?

You better watch that birdy in the cage or he'll bite you in the butt in the form of engine repairs. As has been said check your radiator, radiator cap, heater core, thermostat, hoses and all items that might cause leaks.
