Hey guys, name is Justin and I just bought my... 5th vehicle? And it happens to be a 86.5 Supra MK3, N/A and a 5 speed (w58).
I got the car for $1,000 on the dot, with it having a couple misses and a bad power steering groan. Did a full tune-up and still have a miss but I think a rebuild will cure that
. Added some fluid and Its been my DD since.
Forgot to meantion that i'm 18. I also have a 86 bronco that i'm selling to fund my little turbo project.
My plans include a rebuild, better than stock, although stock would handle the 400-500hp im throwing at it. Getting a manifold + turbo combo off of ebay, and then just kind of custom doing the intercooler. I'll probably spoon feed it a bit with chrome valve covers and braided lines, etc :icon_bigg
Also, painting it white, converting the interior to black, and throwing a 2.5 drop in front, and 2 in back, with some black rims + chrome lip.
I just want a super clean look, while still pulling 11 sec quarters. I'm doing it the cheap way too because I have a guy who will basically rebuild it for me for next to nothing, mostly just parts and helping him out with his projects :biglaugh: , oh and I have to help too, he just gets to do the precision stuff, i get to do everything else haha
