I have found a lot of B.S. floating around about MAP sensors and I have dug deep to find answers and put them all in one spot for you guys!

First of all the map sensor

1JZ-GTE MAP P# 89420-14060 JDM only
2JZ-GTE ^ 2nd gen 3S-GTE MAP P#89421-12111 or P#89421-121110 JDM ^
US

3S-GTE MAP P# 84420-17030 but corrected to P# 89420-17030 by current EPC

First rumor is that the 1JZ map is inferior to the 2JZ us or jdm any for that matter
Fact they are both the same maps and both have the same scale!
They both max out at ~16.5psi at 4.90vdc

however the 1JZ-GTE will fuel cut at ~4.0vdc roughly so it wont boost more then ~9±1 psi stock tune.
So dont waste your money to buy a 2JZ map it have been proven with a psi gauge air compressor digital volt meter.

So to get above the ecu fuel cut you need to trick it with a AFC which is good up to 16.5 psi

to go above 16.5psi you need to upgrade your map to your desired limited scaled map try to stay with in a couple psi of max boost you plan to keep a good resolution like maybe a apexi denso 26.7 psi map P#DPS-310-2000A denso 949940-6270 5 V
