Hey all, new to the Supra community myself but a pretty big Toyota fan. Never have (and actually still dont) own a Supra. I currently have a 2003 Corolla S (built turbo 400hp...and still at shop till I return) and a 1973 Datsun 240Z that is my new project car and reason for me being here.
I love the body styling of the S30 and what would make it better lol why nothing other then having the baddest engines of all time (and a Toyota lol) at the heart of it all. The 2JZ.

Im currently in Afghanistan with the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade and am 30 years old...hoping to get to know you all well here and learn alot since I know little of the JZ series or the Datsun for that matter. :icon_bigg

Welcome and thank you for your service!

I also love the older Z cars and a JZ powered one would be very cool.

Thanks for the warm welcome!! Yeah im hoping I can put together all the info I need to kncok out a good portion of it myself....already tracked down 90% of the main componants mounts I need, and now just keep going back and forth on what setup to go with Single or twin turbo, how to rebuild the R154 I wanna mate to it etc etc etc etc...and what EMS to run. I still got some time but def wanna get alot of the foot work outta the way and have a great build to make happen lol.

Yeah ill def post up the progress as it comes along. Im in the research stage now, already have the Z and a R154 (hell have a 1jz that I got from a guy, but for the cost of restoring upgrading the 1jz I could buy a 2jz ready to drop in).
But i think the plan now is to drop in a 2JZ mated to the r154 (upgraded with some MC parts from driftmotion) and using a 300zxTT rear diff. (lol yeah you can imagine the fun all this is gonna be to plug all these different parts together lol) right now im just up in the air about what setup to do on the 2JZ. Im looking for a 500whp+ setup thats about it since I am told 700 is a stretch for the R154.

So for now its alot of research and buying parts online until I get back from Afghanistan then the real fun can begin.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!!!
