The 7M Dragster

Mibrum Racing Team
To all the 7M lovers we have again ran a constant run of 7.5 sec but this time with 181 mph,This weekend we had an event were we have raced the 7M Dragster.

Last event we had some problems with tyre shake that we could not control and this weekend we started with tyre shake as well but in the last 2 finals we have found a set up that the dragster slipped a bit the clutch and I turned of the throttle about 150-100 ft off the finish line were we have done 7.5sec @ 181mph.

This is on 40psi boost,Then the other final we tried to increase the boost to 45psi but then the clutch slipped so hard and till half the track we did 8.1 sec @ 165mph.
By the way the humidity was 83%.

The record for the car was 7.44sec@175mph
We are hoping that with boost only we should go under the 7 sec runs.
Videos to be posted tomorrow.
Thanks to all your support.

I come from a land down under
Gary: Awesome thanks for the vids!

A couple of questions

a) It doesn't seem to generate much tire heat on burnouts?

b) What was the popping at the top end on the fist run?
(sounded almost like antilag had kicked back in)

Congrats again bud! Most powerful 7M in the world! If it was in an MKIII it would be even sweeter! :naughty: How about you let me borrow that for a few passes :biglaugh:

A) Not sure he needs much more tire heat...1.05 60's :aigo: Probably more to get heat in the motor that the tires...

B) maybe getting on the limiter a bit b/c of some slippage of the clutch??

:)
