Temp + pressure sensor placement and effect question?

I'm just finishing the install on my turbo kit and will be using a VPC and SAFC. Now I know HKS recommends installing the IAT sensor on the back of the 3000 pipe, and the pressure sensor off the back of the intake manifold, but I'm wondering if I can safely mount the sensors further up? My upper intercooler pipe (the one running from the fender/headlight to the 3000 pipe) has a nipple installed for a pressure sensor, and a hole I can tap for the IAT. They are both about halfway up the pipe and a bit before my blow off valve. Can anyone see any issue using these mounting points instead of the HKS ones? Obviously I can see a touch more heat around the 3000pipe area but still, air flow should be the same correct? And will the blow off valve being after the sensors cause it to choke when shifting?
Thanks

I think you're ok running the temp sensor where you want to a certain extent, but I don't think you want the pressure sensor on the front side of the throttle plate.

I would imagine the same thing. While the manifold will see, say, 2 psi, there can be easily 5 in the piping before the throttle plate. That's why you don't hook your wastegate up to a post throttle body vac source. I'm wanting to tap one of the end tanks of my intercooler for this reason.. I'd reference the post intercooler, post pressure drop.. pressure lol. So it would be free horsepower.
