Ok so here it is today when I got in my car my temp gauge never moved just stay below the "C" I drove around fine wasn't really worried about it. Now my question is this does anyone know how to check out why? Do I have to replace the cluster To fix this problem? All the other gauges in cluster worked fine the car warmed up heater blew hot air nothing out of the ordinary happened. I just want to fix it as soon as possible. Any help or point to the right direction would be very helpful. thanks.:1zhelp:

If its the temp sender in the thermostat then your gauge won't work and you might find that your radiator fan doesn't engage (this could be bad).

The gauge itself might be broken too, but it sounds unlikely.

I thought that the ECU would throw a code if the temp sender wasn't working properly? does your engine warning light come on?

hmm, depending on which one was loose/broken, i believe that it would? I remember hearing something about it affecting idle, etc... but im not sure, it would definitely affect the guage though... Hopefully someone will jump in that knows for sure.

In the meantime, just check all of the connections there, maybe have someone sit inside the car, and tell you when the guage moves (of course the car will have to warm up and be idling)

Sorry I couldn't help more

there is a sensor that just controls the gauge.

Ok I just went out and checked the sensors from the pic above and looks like one of the wires is unplugged. Tomorrow I'll hook it back up and hopefully that is the problem. Thanks for all your input!!!
