Has any MK3 owners had any experience with the TEIN SS Coilovers?

I am thinking of staying away from spring/strut combos due to so many complaints I've heard. (Too Bouncy and sag after a while)
Does anyone actually like their spring/strut combo? If so, what do you have?

I have never been in a car with coilovers.
Can anyone enlighten me?

I am really concerned about the bouncyness on the highway. Will I see this with coilovers?

As of right now I am set on the Tein SS with ST Anti-Sway Bars.

Thanks in advance

You will see on any system that was not properly designed for the car. Spring to hard, to soft, dampening not enough gives you that floating that you speak of.

Keep in mind. IN the end, coilover are a RACE part and should be treated as such. That means frequent inspections, tear down and rebuilds after a while.

I have the Tein SS on my car. I'm rather pleased with them. They aren't bouncy at all. You sure do feel the road, and every imperfection in it, though.

Did you leave the height to Teins original settings or did you lower it additionaly?

This is what I don't want. I want to be able to adjust my suspension for luxury cruising and for when I am feeling like taking on some corners, adjust it accordingly.

You should have met me up one day for a ride. I had 2 different set up in the last few weeks.

No idea, I picked them up used, put them on, lowered it a bit more, raised it some... lol.

So, at the moment I have no idea where it is in relation to their settings.

I have the Tein SS Master Control Flex w/ Tein EDFC on my car and I love
the set up. I preset the 3 settings on the controller 10F10R for comfort on
the bumpy neighborhood streets, 7F6R for the beltway and 3F2R for hard
play. Higher numbers-softer. Also using the White Line front & rear sway
bars I got from George @ Raptor Racing w/ the Lipp rear traction bars from
SupraSport. I think this is a great set up for now. Old was Koni shocks &
Eibach Pro Kit W/ stock bars.
