Teal Going 2jz-Gte, Time for Wisdom For Swaps

Okay well, I decied I am selling my 7m motor, I would like to do a 2jz swap. Money will be tight unless I can find a 2jz for a decent price or I sell the 7m motor.

I know there is a lot of information of these swaps.

Now Listen I have looked at MANY Threads. There is good information, but I want to see if anything has changed, if there are better methods that are being done with these swaps or new parts that make it easier.

A list of parts would be great!

I know I need a 1jz bell housing flywheel. New engine mounts. Engine wiring harness have the 2jz extend and sent it to have it ( stretched ) and make it so it fits the dash harness I think.

Anyhow any input would be great, I got a little inspiration from * SuperHero * JAY * so I really want to go through this, and what better car to do it with then the Teal Supra I have. Thanks guys!

It's Teal, It's a '92 Teal, Original 5-speed from the factory, Shadow Grey leather, Sunroof, and every option, also has 76,xxx original miles no rust.
So I am pretty pumped to see where this car is going to go.

Well I still think it applys because it's a MKIII and I don't understand anything about the 2jz, I need to look at one for like 2 days to understand it, and then Ill still learn more. I still think this belongs in this section though, because there are many smart MKIII owners that have done this.

I've never seen a teal one before. The teal one's must be rare! Were the teal ones only made in 92? Was shadow grey only offered in a teal car? I had a teal ford probe in high school but it isn't as nice as your teal 92.

AS sarcastic as you are being.. I don't really need that right now. I am just happy I was able to trade my pile of junk '87 supra ( though I ran 12.9 ) with it for this car, i always wanted the teal one, and I am proud to have it.. Nate I am not trying to be a prick, but would you stop being one

Ha, it can be done, it's been done for a long time in cars, it will cost some money though, but I am ready for it, Im selling all my 7m parts so if you need anything let me know!
