I seen a pic someplace where someone had chrome bars on their car when they had the targa off. I would gather this keeps the frame stiffer when it is off, i also seen one that was installed just in front of the read seat. Does anyone know where you buy these?

I still have and sometimes use a set of the Dean Marcum bars. I also have the 1st and 2nd Gen WeezL wings (bought a spare to support the group buys). The wings cost a bit more to make and probably won't be made again for awhile, unless someone can do it better/cheaper I suppose.

The targa bars are probably going to be available for awhile... they cost much less than the wings and do offer some support, but not as much as the wing. I still have my spare wing for sale/trade. For the price, you have to be very serious about keeping the body skrait, w/the targa off. I take my top off every chance I get ;-)

Ok sent BIC a email, I also know a very skilled friend with all the goodies will see if he can make them, Will also show him the Weez Wing and see if he could make it. Since he is retired but still has a full shop maybe he would be interested in making some for us. I can see where both supports have a useful application, the Weez one for racing,auto cross ect and the regular bars for daily drives with the top off. Will also see if i can find the part numbers or the factory bolts.

Ok just talked to my guy and he is going to work out a pattern and price for both styles. These would come with primer so can be done with as you please. If interested drop me a PM an i will get back when i have prices.
