well guys i installed a use targa seals from a 91 supra on my 87, and guess what it leaks. yes even worse than it did before. how ever it's not leaking in the same spots that it did before. it's leaking heavy right over the driver seat in the back and in the front right corner. any tricks i can try.
i head there was some stuff you could pump into these rubbers to make them stand up again.

if not were can i get some new seals? :3d_frown: :3d_frown:

unless they're brand new, they will leak again and again. Best bet would be just call jay marks toyota and ask for a some hook ups on the seals. Last time i heard they ran a bit under 200 dollars... Someone should replicate these soon before we run out of em.

Before you spend $200 on new seals try this. Go buy some silicon spray lubricant. It softens rubber seals and whatnot. I sprayed my old seals with them and it worked great. Not guaranteed, but for the $2 its worth a try.

I just replaced my targa seals recently after trying the silicon spray thing. Bought them form Champion Toyota World fro $165 Shipped for every seal.
