tail lights/brake lights won't turn off

my brake light are on all the time, even when I shut the car off. The only way I can turn them off is to pull the lamp relay box in the trunk. any ideas how to fix this? I know it is not the relay box itself, as I have three of them and I tested them all. All ther other lights act normal, only the rear brake lights and third brake light stay on.

check the switch under the dash. press the brake and watch to see which one the pedal hits to activate the lights, it's probably stuck in the 'on' position.

yea mine had the same problem, just adjust the pedal with the screw adjuster.

...yeah, like they said. It's gonna be the switch at the brake pedal. I once had the issue where the lights stayed on also. The small, rubber grommet at the pedal fell/broke off and the pedal would not make contact with the switch. I simply glued a penny in the same spot and no problems with it again. Cheapest mod/fix ever!
